Alcohol Abuse

My husband drinks on a daily basis and recently he has been binging too much, so much his liver function tests are coming abnormal but he just doesn't wanna see the sense. He is also diagnosed with Diabetes and as his LFTs are high he is on human insulin..... that too he is just 33 years old. With no family history of alcoholism i dunno what to do as he has shoved me out of his life. though he earns well and belongs to a reputed family and a big organisation, he may have work pressures. He drinks as soon as he comes home and if I stop then he hides and drinks or even better stops in a club on his way home. I live in india and drinking is a social stigma in our family. Please help me help him

In America, I would recommend Alanon which is an organization of family members of alcholics. I do not know if there is Alanon in India. I cannot really help over the web. I can only say that maybe a trusted relative or friend or his personal physician could have a talk with him and tell him he needs help.
