I am in the process of trying to figure out if I have IC or not. I am taking Detrol to help handle my bladder spasms and to reduce my incontinent episodes. My main problem is I feel I have to go to the bathroom all the time. There is no relaxation from this pain. I have to guess when I have to go. I believe that is why I am incontinent because I can't feel anything but the urge. My doctor tested me a while back for bladder cancer because I keep getting infections. My question is in IC does the bladder pain feel like a urge or different kind of pain.
