embarrising: recently Peeing pants 21 yr old femaleWell i guess it would be good to start from the beginning. I was always a bed wetter as a child. After avoiding water before bed and constant effort I finally slept in a dry bed by the age of 12. Im not sure if that is relevant to my new found issue but i decided to put it all out there.
Over a year now and I have been constantly having to urinate immediatly!! There is no time to even make it to the bathroom. I get a huge urge to pee out of no where and need to run to the bathroom. On some occasions ill pee my pants a little, never too noticable. BUT latley i have peed my pants completley soaking wet three times. Two were while i was drinking alchohol. It wasnt like "oh im drunk and peed my pants" more like drinking effects my urgency ten thousand times more. Im a 21 year old female and am second guessing going out to bars with friends because im scared someone will see my peeing my pants one day. Its embarrising because im always excusing myself to go the bathroom an obscene amount of times. ALSO: I have had a history of Chlamadya but was treated with antibiotics and cleared of the STI. This was about two years ago. I just experienced my first UTI three months ago. I tookd medication for it and felt better no burning ect. but i feel as if my bladder was in a way "ruined" from it. Im scared that i have done damage to my bladder thus forbiding me to interact with anyone outside of the bathroom!! I would REALLLY APPRECIATE it if i can get some pointers on what could be the problem. THANKS SO MUCH
Re: embarrising: recently Peeing pants 21 yr old femaleI too have been experienceing the same problems. I get an uncontrolable urge to urinate, which resorts in my wetting myself, so I must wear pads 24/7. I am 58, and have no other health problems. This has affected my sex life. I am afraid I may wet the bed, so I try to stay awake at night. I tried looking up my problem on the internet. My condition may be what is called urge incontinence. My suggestion would be to see an Urologist as soon as possible to get your problem properly diagnosed
Re: embarrising: recently Peeing pants 21 yr old femaleI always felt the same way. You would be suprised how many women deal with this issue. Don't be too embarrassed to talk to a doctor. I agree: go directly to a urologist. There are too many possible reasons this can be happening and a urologist has the experience to target the cause even more then a GP or OB/GYN.
