Glad I found this thread and place to be able to get some help. Here is a brief explanation of where I am today...

I thought it was a UTI--was on three diffrent antibiotics..nothing helped. Went to the urologist March 31st. After a "prestine" (using his words) UA and a blatter ultrasound that stated I was only empting out 80% of my blatter, he thinks I have a using his words once again, A garden variety of Overactive Blatter. He said it COULD be IC but he thought it was OAB. Anyhow, He put me on 7.5 Enablex told me to try it for two weeks then if it didn't work try Vesicare to see if it worked. I'm on a visit back to see him in a little over a month. Well, I began the Enablex first been on it for 7 days. I feel a bit better and can tell I'm better but it STILL has not taken the symptoms away! How long does it take for this medication to take or does it take the symptoms away? I even took one of the vesicare's the same day and felt even better. I guess I'm not supposed to do that. I dunno.. I'm having the frequency jsut not as much but the urgency is still there with an occasional slight burn. With the medication I have been able to make it through the night without getting up or if I do it's only once. Hope not too much TMI but I'm also feeling pressure even after a BM like I'm consitpated...strange. I'm a Lymphoma Survivor and can't help that my mind goes to the possibility of cancer. I have a routine PET scan coming up so I'm hopeful to rule that out. As the urologist states he really does not think it's cancer. He mentioned further testing if the meds are not working...

I'm scared and looking for some support I guess. Should I be concerned that this is more that OAB? Tahnks for any insight you can give. I'm a 36 year old female.
