x-posted in undiagnosed conditions--urinary symptomsage: 22. female. normal weight.
conditions already diagnosed: bad IBS, gluten sensitivity, history of C Diff colitis. symptoms include diarrhea, nausea, cramping. urinary symptoms I'm currently having: frequent urination, pressure in my bladder/abdomen, constant urge to urinate, urge to urinate causes feelings of anxiety feeling as if I can't empty my bladder. much more bothersome during the day than night, but still wake up at least twice during the night to use the bathroom. quality of life is being significantly reduced. I'm quickly becoming housebound by this condition. when I do go out, I ALWAYS have to know where the bathroom is and I'm often going there. car rides are becoming painful. being out in public and public transportation are nearly unbearable. I've barely been able to go out and have fun, have a life. problem is, I have to be a student, I have to be in school, I have to be TEACHING, I have to take public transportation, etc. but I haven't been able to do these things and I need to get these symptoms figured out and TREATED, soon :( please let me know if you have any advice
Re: x-posted in undiagnosed conditions--urinary symptomsI see no one has replied to your post. I'm so sorry that you are going through this at such a young age. I am 53 (female) and have been diagnosed with overactive bladder syndrome. Your symptoms sound very similar to mine. There is medication for this.
I can relate to your feelings of anxiety regarding these symptoms. I have had them as well. I was taking Xanax as a matter of fact. Please see a urologist if you haven't already. Tera
