BRAC testing and insurance

Has anyone been advised to have genetic testing for the BRAC (breast cancer) mutation, but have worried that the results would be available for insurance companies to use to increase premiums or deny coverage in the future? I'm doing research for a documentary about how our health information is shared, with and without our knowledge.
