Breast Biopsy

I just had a biopsy prior to lumpectomy my ? is Does the lesion leak cells into the breast after a biopsy needle is removed ?

This is not usually a problem, that is why they can do the biopsy and subsequent lumpectomy if needed as opposed to removing the whole breast. Good luck.
