Purple/Red spot under breast

Post a new topicby panterachick on Fri Apr 03, 2009 7:21 am

Hi,
I'm new to this forum and site. I am just wondering if anyone has has experience with a dark red/purplish raised spot under their breast? I have one under my right breast- it't been there for about a year, but has grown in size to about double. It is slightly raised but not very hard- it feels like it's on the surface- I can squeeze it (i can't even feel that) and it seems to be in the deeper skin layers- but feels like it has more depth if i push it (hard to explain)

I have had it for about a year, but it is much bigger now. I completely forgot about it until lastnight I spotted it in the mirror. There is also a smaller lighter coloured spot which has appeared next to it- it looks the way the original one looked. Not sore and definately not a bruise or a spot/pimple.

Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. I have no family history of breast cancer that I am aware of.

:)

hi, I hope that you are okay. The only advice that i can give to you is that you need to go visit your doctor and have it checked out. Even after that have a second opinion becasue two heads are better than one. Take the necessary tests. Do not be afraid of the results be strong and deal with them as they come along. This may not be serious as well as it could be. Do not take chances have this checked out as soon as possible. One year is already too long. Kimme
