hi keziah,

I have had bunions my whole life and I was born with my big toe under my 2nd toe. I'm about to be 16 and as soon as I get out of school I plan to have them removed. Many people tell me i should get them removed. I play varsity basketball and i deal with the pain all the time. Good luck with your bunions and go to another doctor and keep going til you find the right one.

Hi,

As far as I know, professional foot splint can release your pain in certain extent. However, as bunion is a progressive deformity, if it is really becoming worse and worse, I would suggest you to have surgery.
There are quite a lot of surgery options and please browse different websites to gather more information on it.
You can try to get more information on this websites about bunion surgery.
