Bunions

Can someone detail the day to day or week to week feeling of your bunion surgery. I would like to know:
how the pain was in the beginning?
How long were you in pain?
your limitations?
did you have a cast?
did you have a surgical boot?
did you have to use crutches?
If the right foot, how long before you could drive?

Detailed information on how you managed this surgery would be quite helpful.

I have arthritis and osteoporosis in the feet so that complicates the surgery.
I have 2 jobs in which I sit most of the time and need to have an idea of how long before I could drive.

Naturally, all the questions will also be asked to my podiatrist before the surgery is done.
