Hi there I am 34 years old and just found out that I have cervical cancer. I am waiting for my doctor to schedule the hysterectomy but I am sad. Hi, I was sorry to read of your diagnosis, but please concentrate on what you have and not on what might have been. My daughter found out she had malignant cervical cancer when she was 7 months pregnant with her first child. The baby was safely delivered by caesarian and then my daughter had a radical hysterectomy followed by weeks of radiotherapy and some chemotherapy. At first, just before the operation, my daughter was so sad because she knew her child would be an only one and she felt that she was losing something so precious - her womb and knowing that she would never have any more children. However, little did we know a the time, but within 1 year my daughter died from this awful disease and those earlier worries and thoughts then seemed so unimportant. I wish you well and hope with all my heart that you are one of the survivors and will live your life to the full with your child. Live for the day. With love.
