Well I became busy working, raising three children on my own, and forgot about me. 2 years passed and on 07/05/07, I woke up grabbed the phone book and made an appointment. Almost two weeks later, the doctors office called and told me I needed to come in and speak with the doctor regarding my pap results. The next morning, I went to see him to find out I had pre-cancero...Read the full article

Yes I wanted to reply to your post. I am 34 years old and just found out I have cervical cancer and have to have a radical hysterectomy. I was a single mom with a 7 year and now I have a wonderful fiancee who is very supportive. But I am very scared at the same time. I feel like they are going to take away the things that make me a woman and then I wont feel the same. My mother died last year of ovarian cancer and i have suffered with PCOS for about 4 or 5 years so they will probably take my ovaries as well. I am trying to think positive about this and realize i have a beautiful little boy and a wonderful fiancee but its hard at the same time. I feel really blessed in some ways and sad and confused in other ways.

I am very worried and nervous also. I never had my leep procedure done and now I have symptoms that might indicate that the pre-cancerous cells have become cancer. The only thing that I can tell you is to fight it and have a positive and healthy attitude. Picture yourself without cancer and do everything you can to stay healthy, like eating correctly. Maybe research with a nutritionist about what foods help your body during this time. I think a good sense of humor and a positive outlook will heal you. Like watching a lot of comedies so you laugh a lot. Good Luck and if any of us believe in God we should pray for each other and our loved ones.
