Cervical Cancer

I have just found out that my mother has cervical cancer and will be getting surgeorgy on the second this January but she has already had a hysterectomy She said that the cancer itself is now in the meat on her lower stomache. She is every hush hush about it so I was wondering if anyone knew any good informational sites or had any current knowledge? I have found some sites but they mostly deal with the cancer on the cervix itself and not the meat. I'm hoping that this makes sense because I don't know how to explain it any better than I have. Any help I would be very greatful of having.

hm, not sure what you mean by meat. did she have chemo or radiation after her hysto? it's possible the cancer was not "cured" by just a hysto and it was still thriving in her and attacked other parts of her body. i'm very sorry to hear that. hope you can find some answers and that she gets cured right away. just surgery alone for some people will not cure cancer it has to be killed and the growth stopped.
