Cervical Dysplasia

I’m an 18 female who found out 6 months ago i had mild HPV and abnormal cells. I only had had sex with one man who I thought I could trust. So two weeks ago I found out I have cervical dysplasia In two days I go to see if its severe or mild I’m scared. I want to just get a partial hysterectomy if its severe that way I have no problems in future I need advice please contact me.

Sweetie! please don't panic my 19 year old daughters going through the same thing now. I know of many that have gone through it, myself included. Granted someday you may end up getting a hysterectomy but I'm sure no time soon. I had similar problems when I was 30 years old My doctor recommended that He freeze the abnormal cells and I went on to have my daughter at 37 and didnt have a Hysterectomy till I was 45 I have another older daughter who has dealt with it and was told that it had become moderate and they did a procedure called a Leep. Shes was about 35 So you see your not alone it's very very common The Doctor told us that 7 out of 10 people have HPV and most don't even know they have it. The best thing you can do is read up ask questions and keep getting your pap smears done. Sometimes if its Low grade or mild it'll clear up on its own. So Listen to the doctor and try to make informed decisions for yourself Good Luck and mostly take care of yourself
