hello! i am new to this post and i have been doing a lot of reading. i recently found out that i am high risk hpv and cin1,cin11,and cin11 dysplasia. my dr. talked to me and she suggested that it was in my best interest to have the leep procedure. i had leep procedure done 4/23/09. my dr. told me that it was a 15 to 30 minute procedure and that i will have a lot of cramping that day and the dr.said that i can return to my normal duties the next day. i woke up the next day, in a lot more pain than i was in the day of my procedure.i called the dr. office and the on-call dr called me back and told me i should continue to take the medicine like the dr. prescribed to me and and i should start to feel a little better. i went to sleep and was laying in bed and i started to feel uncomfortable, i put pillows underneath me to ease some of the pain, i went the hole weekend suffering and when monday came i called the dr. office again and told them that i was in severe pain and they told me to come in to the office. i went in to the office and the dr. examined me and found out that i had a uterus infection and prescribed me some antibiotics. the dr. yold me that she wanted to see me back in 3 days meaning today which is thursday to see if the antibiotics were working and they weren't she wanted me to call prior to me returning. i went to the dr. today and she said i looked like i was doing a little better and she wanted me to stop worrying because i am under strees. dr. examined today and found out that i have another infection in my urine and prescribed me more antibiotics. i ask dr did this have something to do with me having HPVand she told me no. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! i told the dr that it seems like since i have had the leep procedure done i am in worse shape than i was before and she told me that i would be just fine... i told her that since i had tubal ligation it was in my best interest to have a hysterectomy. she told me that she wanted me to go home and talk to my hubby about it and we will discuss the possobility of the hysterectomy next week. i told her that hubby and i already have discussed it and that my mind was made up....so she popped it to me like ok u can have the hysterectomy but you still wouldn't be out of the woods. i said why? she said because i am high risk and that its likely if we due a hysterectomy that it will spread to my vagina....so i said did my test results come back from leep and she said no but she talked to the patologist and he told her that my results are pre-cancerous but that she got all the cells, but the pathologist haven't gave her a full report.......hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!! something sounds fishy...... she told me that i don't have to worry and that she is 100% sure that she got all the abnormal cells out. SHOULD I TRUST THIS DR.?
