Cervical Dysplasia

So I just got home from having my Colposcopy. (don’t know if I spelled it correct) I was diagnosed 2 wks ago with High risk HPV and sevear [severe] dysplasia.(sorry if my spelling is off I am just freaked out!) I must say that this has been the scariest 2wks of my life. I am so overwhelmed and confused. Finding this website gave me some comfort though. I’m sure you know exactly what I mean. I understand what u are going through. I am 24 years old and I have had this cervical dysplasia since aug of 2006. I have had 3 leep surgerys and finally found a good doctor. My other doctor did so many leeps on me that my cervix is ruined. The best advise I can give u is to limit the leeps if thats what they want to do b/c the more leeps u have the less likely it is to get pregnant. My new doctor said if I was going to her and she would have froze my cervix that I probably wouldn't have this so long. I go to the doctor for my colopsy results tomorrow which 2 months ago my old doctor did one and i was at stage 2, and my new doctor said if it is at a stage 2 that she will go ahead and do a parcial hyst. That is because I requested it. She pretty much told me that freezing is too late for me and I told her after having 3 leeps I don't want anymore, I already have 2 girls, which I did want to try for a boy but if it is going to turn in to the real cancer i want it out. When I first found out I had this back in 06, I totally freaked out like u did, but I think they can save u without going through what I have had to go through. I was going to a doctor that was milking me for money and I wish I would of listened to everyone that told me to get a second opion.
