I was just OUT of a monogamous long term relationship of 5 years and begining to enter the dating scene again when I started having missed periods, and then periods for like 20 days straight spotting all kinds of crazy things. I went in and was diagnosed with HPV I immediatly told the new guy I was with and we have been together ever since. I was under the impression if we had already done the "wild thing" the damage was already done to him meaning I'd exposed him but as long as this was the type that doesn't cause warts he'd be in no danger, but would just be capable of passing it on in the event we split. I'm 24 and this makes 2 partners for me so it's not like I'm terrribly premisquous although these two are both 10 years older. Anyhow It's been a year and a half since then, I took another job when I found out about this, that was supposed to offer insurance thinking it was the thing to do I was uninsured when I found out. Turns out they offer it but it's like $350 a month per person like a chunk of my salary that would make rent hard to cough up, I'm 24 already working two jobs and know that even if I hand over the cash for the procedure I won't be able to afford the month to month follow up care. Meanwhile my periods are now regular again with no treatment to speak of, (I know that doesn't mean it went away this was phase III back then no idea how bad now. I was told is moderate but what I read on the web says severe!!) But I'm getting scared as cancer runs in both sides of my family. I've already done the cone biopsy they are recommending the LEEP, but isn't that just another biopsy as is the cryto? So which is it a biopsy or biopsy. I just want this gone. I don't know what is the best way to approach this or how to afford it. Totally freeking out now yesterday my boyfriend came home with a bump they told him was a wart he had it froze off today! So know your telling me I have 2 types!!! I've searched high and low about how to afford this and what to do but I'm still at a loss as where to begin ang what procedure to start with I want the job done right the first time. I wouldn't have knowingly put him in harms way but this isn't something I heard about when I was in sex ed, everytime I google this it gets more and more comfusing!!!
