I’ve been treated for Hepatitis C with Interferon and Ribavirin for 24 weeks. At the end of the treatment I was cleared from the virus and was very happy, as I had all side effects those drugs can bring, including low platelets and leucocytes count in my blood tests. After 3 months of the treatment the doctor asked for another viral load, as my liver tests weren’t normal and to my surprise the viral was back and the viral load was higher than in the beginning of the treatment.
