chemo

Post a new topicby Guest on Sun Dec 02, 2001 12:58 am

four yrs. ago I had a mastectomy.I was put on 3 chemo drugs;methatrexate,5FU and cytoxin. Please excuse spelling.I have felt fine until about 2 mos. ago and I have lost all my pep. I dont sleep well,my bones and joints ache and for about a year,I have gotten bruises on my theighs every month. This time they came a day before Thanksgiving and I still have them although they are fading. Should I be concerned enough to see my oncologist?

Since you are writing I would say your concern has reached a level that needs attention. Although you may have nothing I would suggest that you see your oncologist for a follow-up visit and go over these symptoms with him/her. Thank you for using oncologychannel and good luck.
