Why do people who receive chemotherapy often lose their hair?

I'm sure many have replied, but my 1st time at this site. Chemo kills the RAPIDLY reproducing cancer cells. However it also kills other good cells that reproduce rapidly, such as hair folicals and mouth tissue. Hence, hair lose and the reason why docs suggest extra oral health care.
