Chemotherapy

My husband is done with his chemo for the last month now. He had sessions (once every 2 weeks) of 5 days in a row for 1 hour each day of chemo with 24 hour hydration.
he works new construction in the extreme heat. His doctor informed him from the beginning that it would take about a year before he was back to "normal" this all started in March, his doctor told him today that he thought he should be able to return to work in the heat with in 2 weeks. Good idea or not?
