#1 What is "muga scan" brief discription of procedure please.
#2 put on tamoxifen 10mg x 2 a day post surgery by surgen
#3 oncoligist wants to discontinue tamoxifen during chemo treatment . I was told some continue tamoxifen during chemo
I would like oppinion on this course of treatment.
The proposed chemo drugs are: Doxorubicin(Adriamycin,Adria)
given IV, and Cytoxan(Cyclophosphamide) given IV.
It is my understanding that the tamoxifen is very effective and
wonder why not include with chemo regiment?
I was also told no radiation treatment was needed.
History: 2.2 cm tumor left brest-total mastectomy
This was stage two cancer.
14 lymph glands removed, one showed positive for cancer. Hormone receptors 97% positive, don't know about tumor margins yet- I need to ask.

Since I posted this I've gotten answers about the Muga scan.
I called Taussing cancer center and got that info,and test will be
done two hours from now.
I still question if Tamoxifen in conjunction with AC chemo has a
negative effect as opposed to AC chemo followed by Tamoxifen
use after the chemo treatment.
