side-effects?

Post a new topicby Guest on Tue Jul 24, 2001 1:31 pm

I noticed, that when I started getting
chemo, I was getting scabs,in my nose.
When I was on a brake, for a couple of
weeks, from chemo, these scabs started
clearing-up. When I started back on chemo they came back.

Is this one of the side-effects, that aren't listed?

Thanks-Baldy

It is possible that the scabs represent either healing lacerations (possible as chemotherapy will dry out the nostrils and lead to increased cracking) or healing herpes infections. Either one of these is possible and can be due to the effects of chemotherapy. Thank you for using oncologychannel.
