Working during Chemo

Post a new topicby Guest on Sat Mar 16, 2002 3:12 am

I have Non Hodgkins Lymphoma and will begin chemo soon. I am also about to begin working heavy construction as a laborer after a winter off. Is it possible to work physically hard while doing chemo? I already feel a little more tired than usual just from the lymphoma I think, although when I am not working it is easy for me to exaggerate my condition.

Although it is possible to work at the beginning of therapy, people tend to
become progressively more tired and fatigued as they receive more cycles of
therapy. The best that you can do is try and see how things work out. Thank
you for using oncologychannel and good luck.
