Looking for advise

Post a new topicby louann on Fri Jun 19, 2009 2:47 pm

I am a 36 year old female that had a history of TIA's due to a narrowing blood vessel in my right middle cerebral artery. A little over 2 years ago I had a bypass surgery to correct it. Shortly after I started having pain in my head where I had the surgery, I was put on Neurontin. My doctor said it was nerve pain, well the pain stopped for 4 months and now it is back. I spoke to my doctor and he is telling me that it should be healed by now but still insists that it is the nerves growing back. It hurts to laugh, bend over and any little movements I make. I do have a hole where they cut through my skull and I have no plates. I am just wondering if anyone has had something like this or heard of this before.
