Chronic Pain

I have skin sensitivity around my left knee Pants brushing against my knee felt abrasive to me
I saw a MD for the same and I told him that I dont have any pain on a day to day basis except I have a long story on the same(I will explain the same after this) and he examined me and said its very un-common in my case as he said he dont see any nerve related problems , So I walked out from there un-satisified

My Medical conditions are :
1)Flat Feet
2)dianosed with patella femoral syndrome to my left knee 11/2 yrs back

It all started here when I started runnin on tread mill and I am not a great runner before that and I developed severe knee pain to my left and I took pain killers during that time and they helped reduce the pain and swelling but later on problems like clicking/popping of the knee and cold sensation started where it was very disturbing and annoying and I was not able to concentrate on work , again I saw my MD and he said I have this syndrome and he said rehab would help with my problem and I did the same but he didnt have any explanation for my cold sensation , I have been doin this rehab for quite some time now with no luck with different doctors
Now added to this , I have this abrasive knee when my pants rub and I am feeling ok when I wear shorts
Does anyone have answers to my problems?
Note: I only have pain when I do excessive walking or running
