Problem with IUD???

Post a new topicby imknattie on Sun Feb 03, 2008 1:14 pm

I have had my IUD for approximately 3 months and have started developing recurrent bladder infections since it's insertion after delivery of my third child. Could there be a connection between the IUD and the infections? If there is a connection I would be more than happy to have it removed as I"m not happy with it at all.

Hello,

The IUD could be contributing to the bladder infections. It may be causing a local inflammatory response leaving you predisposed to developing bladder infections.

You mentioned that you were unhappy with the IUD. If this is because of related side effects and you are trying to avoid the side effects of birth control hormones you might want to consider the Lady-Comp fertility monitor.

The Lady-Comp measures the daily basal body temperture to the 100th degree within a minute. All you need to do is confirm the dates of menstruation. Its very easy to use and women have been having success with the method since 1987. The Lady-Comp provides 99.3% reliabilty for contraception on green light days (infertile days). Most women with regular cycles would need to use a barrier method on 8-10 red light days in the cycle.

Its quick, easy and reliable....if you need more information, please contact me personally by email to [moderator note: e-mail address has been removed]
