(me again!) Asking for Help

Post a new topicby Guest on Mon Apr 22, 2002 12:51 pm

I decided last night I need help! I want to stop cutting and I though I could do it on my own but I can't. Problem is I don't know who is best to ask for help? I came up with three ideas; a teacher, a doctor, or the school nurse. I just don't want my parents to find out and I don't know what each person can do to help.
I'm really desperate to get help.

You might ask yourself why you don't want your parents to know. I think if you told them it might increase your odds of stopping and allow you to get professional help. Short of that, I would recommend your doctor as someone who has run across this type of problem before and has access to help. Again,if I were you, I would tell your parents (not that I've ever met them)so they could help get help.
