ct scan class b reader

Post a new topicby Guest on Mon Apr 14, 2003 8:37 pm

Hi! I have had multiple pulmonary embolism's. I also worked as a mechanic that worked on trucks from an asbestos mine. I have had many episodes of pleuritic chest pain since my Pe's started. I have had full work up with no signs as to where the clots were coming from. I have a Greenfield pulmonary filter in my inferior venna cava. I have not had any pe since then. But I have had many episodes of pleuritic chest pain. This has been going on for over 10 years the chest pain is getting worse. I recently had a ct scan of my lungs the radiologist and my Pulmonalogist said they could not find anything other than previous scar tissue. Should I have a Class B reader read my scan? And if so how do you find out who is a class b Reader? What possibly could be happening?
