Variations of MRI and CT namely MR angiography (MRA) and CT angiography (CTA) are both excellent, noninvasive ways of looking for aneurysms in the brain. The problem with both tests is spatial resolution that is not very good. Small aneurysms in difficult locations can be very tough. Cerebral angiography which is more invasive is still the "gold standard." Spatial resolution is much better.
