surgical clamps

After a recent surgery, I had a CT scan and discovered I had two surgical clamps in my belly. Is this common? Can I have a MRI? Can the clamps give me any problems?

Surgical clamps or clips? That would make a difference. Many of us have those little clips and that's no big deal for MRI. When it comes to surgical clamps that would be something else entirely and I'd have that checked out.
