Re: my life with endometriosisY W, know that you are not alone in this battle. I was diagnose with endometriosis at the age of 25 and it has been a constant battle since then. I'm now 32 and I feel like I'm living in pure hell sometimes. My lower back aches and my right pelvic area is constantly in pain. I think the most frustrating part is that nothing seems to be working. The best medicine that I found that helps alleviate the pain is Lupren Depot shots, however you can only take them for about 6 months. Currently, I'm trying to lose weight and exercise because I was told that could also help with some of the pressure. The most important advice I can give to you is to know that you are not alone in this battle. Also, be a little leary of doctors who wants to give you a hysterectomy.
