Re: EDThere is only one 'diagnosis' for ED - if you can't get it up, you have it. Seriously, keep in mind that ED is not a disease - it is a symptom. So, diagnosing ED is like diagnosing a cough - if you are coughing you have a cough. The trick is to diagnose the CAUSE of the ED. There are at least a hundred possible causes with some people having more than one, or maybe a chain reaction of causes. While purely psychological causes are rare, it turns out that the emotional turbulence caused by ED will inject a psychological cause into nearly every case of ED at one level or another. The key is to find the most significant underlying cause so you can break the cycle and then begin to put everything back together. It may take awhile and visits to more than one Doctor in order to find one with the right insights. Also, pay attention to your own body - it can tell you a lot about what is going on. The trick is finding a Doctor who will accept your insights and integrate them with his own findings.
Good luck.
