Which kind of Dr should I see?

Post a new topicby flipflops on Mon May 11, 2009 10:57 pm

I've mentioned my problem to my GP, I don't think he gets it. I want to see a specialist - but which one? Endocrinologist? Urologist? Which specialty is most up on causes and treatments?

See a urologist. They deal with all the different problems you see listed on this website. (think "urology" channel dot com - "urologist")

One word of caution though - depending upon your insurance plan, you may need to have your GP refer you to a urologist (specialist). Some insurance plans will not pay for a specialist if you were not referred by a general physician first.
