$25 for a doctor's reply!I realize that many sites are beginning to charge a fee in order to get a doctor's reply. I also realize that doctor's can be very busy people. However, I feel it is a real joke to charge $25 to get a response. The majority of responses are far from being complex or detailed. A short general response is usually given. Is that worth $25? I wasn't aware that doctor's were so hard up for money.
Re: $25 for a doctor's reply!I guess there would be three options here then: go see a "real" doctor to get a "real" reply; post your question here so maybe someone else can help; or deal with your problem somewhere else.

Re: Re: $25 for a doctor's reply! It is not the doctors, but the web site owners. Maintaining this site does cost money and paying urologists to spend an hour or so a day answering questions added to the costs. I am guessing that they tried an experiment to see if people would pay and they have found few are willing to pay $25 for general advice. This no more means the people are greedy than it means the doctors are greedy. It does not appear the site will revert back to giving free advice from the doctors, but I hope the site remains up, though it is far from as effective as it once was.
