Feeling too young for ED

Post a new topicby Guest on Sat Mar 01, 2003 11:44 pm

I am a 27-yr-old male. I have have had progressively worse ED for the past 3 years. I have seen my family doctor, who ran blood tests and found normal testosterone levels. I also saw a urologist who prescribed me zoloft. I had told him that I often ejaculate very quickly, which never used to happen until I was 24. I think the problem is that it takes so much stimulation to give me an erection that I'm pretty much ready to ejaculate by the time I'm hard, sometimes before. So, he prescribed me zoloft to counter the premature ejaculation problem. I have yet to fill the prescription, partially because it's really expensive (though my drug plan may cover it but I'm not sure), and partially because I just don't like the idea of throwing medication at every problem.

But, as I said, the problem is getting worse, to the point where I can't even masturbate. I do sometimes (though not often) get morning erection, but it doesn't last long at all...as soon as I'm fully conscious it goes down, unless I start masturbating right away, and that's the one of the few times I can maintain a good erection, that and occasionally late at night.

I feel like I'm too young to have this problem, I'm in pretty good shape on the whole, though I do have some stomach problems and often feel unduely tired, so maybe it's related to that. I find doctors so unhelpful; they just want to pass me off or give me pills. Does anyone have any advice about how I can restore my virility?!
