Never had an Orgasam/have NO sex driveI have been seeing a lot of the same things woman worried about loosing there husband. I am in that same boat. I have never been real big on sex, i have never gotten anything from it. I have never had an orgasam...EVER. Like i said before i have never had much of a sex drive but I have noticed and so has my poor husband that since we had our son its even worse. I didnt have post partum depression or anything like that...I guess u can say its just getting worse i dont know if it has anything to do with having a baby. I dont even like to be touched sometimes. I want to cring away. My husband talks to me sexually and it turns me off even more. I have sex with my husband just for his satisfaction i get nothing from it. Its not good for him because he knows I get nothing out of it. I feel so helpless. I need help and quick......my husband is loosing his patients with me. There has got to be a way to fix me.
Please help
Re: Never had an Orgasam/have NO sex driveYour situation sounds identical to that of my wife. We have not found a cure but then again, she does recognize this as an essential component of life/relationships. I am sure the very few times that she engaged in sex, it was for my benefit. I try every way possible to make it good for her but she seems to lack interest even when I do find an acceptable way to stimulate her. Our relationship has and is suffering much from her abscence of drive/desire. She wants me to learn to embrace celibacy. I have become depressed. I have brought her situation up to doctors and counselors but nobody has an answer. Her "old school" ob/gyn doctor does not seem to be effective in providing any solutions. My wife wont take hormones; citing the danger of side effects. She is 55 and still menopausal or post menopausal I am not sure.
For me this is a huge problem because I wonder if any of it may be that she does not love me enough. Her lack of interest in finding cures or solutions really hurts. Just thoought I would share a male perspective on this important issue.
Re: Never had an Orgasam/have NO sex driveA recent survey (conducted by Laumann and colleagues at the University of Chicago) of American women (ages 18-59) found that the most common sexual problem in women is hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD), more commonly referred to as low sex drive or libido (33.4%), followed by difficulty with orgasm (24.1%). Pain during intercourse--which occurs in 14.4% of women--was the only condition to show a relationship to age -- it decreases as women get older.

The definition is vague because the APA acknowledges that there can be significant differences in sexual interest levels among women. According to the survey mentioned above, 37% of women think about sex a few times a month and only 33% think about sex 2-3 times a week or more. Happier women seem to think about sex more often than unhappy women. [/quote]
