please someone...I need answers:(

Post a new topicby sadgirl26 on Fri Jan 16, 2009 5:14 pm

I am a 26 year old mother of two. Last year my baby turned 1, and than shortly after it started to hurt during sex. I kept waiting for it to just go away. I couldn't bring myself to tell my husband. But one day it all came out into the open...he could just tell that I was not comfortable. I went to my doctor, but I did not have insurance at the time, and he simply told me not to have sex for a week and than try again. His theory was that my uterus was inflamed and just needed a chance to heal. He suggested to try new positions as well. We tried new positions, but tell me, how is one supposed to enjoy it when one thrust hurts and than the next thrust does not. Finally we cracked down, got some health insurance and went back to see my doc. After performing a very painful pelvic exam he thought that perhaps I had endometriosis Well I was so excited that I may finally have the answers to my problems that we went through with a very expensive laproscopic surgery. Needless to say, he found nothing wrong with me! No endometriosis, no fibroids, absolutely nothing. I went back to see him for a follow up 10 days after surgery. He inspected my incisions, told me they looked fine and than proceeded to tell me that perhaps my problem is nothing more than a saggy uterus, and he could be of no further help until after I am done bearing children, and than he could perform a hysterectomy The thought of dragging myself to a stranger for a second opinion scares the crap out of me. My husband is growing more and more frustrated and I have never felt so ALONE in all of my life. My sexual desires are diminishing, I feel depressed and completely uncomfortable with my body. My husband tries to pleasure me in other ways, but I feel embarrassed about myself and I cannot get any pleasure from it. I don't know what is happening to me, or why this is happening to me. Please, if anybody has any advice, I would really appreciate it.
