I am 22 years old and got diagnosed with Fibromyalgia 5 months ago. Now the world makes sense!
It all started when i was 16. I am 55 years old and started having similar problems when I was a teen after I had a case of strep infection in the blood. It has just progressively gotten worse over the years until now it's very difficult for me to function. Not only do I have pain, but I also have such horrible dizziness that it's hard for me to even drive. Recently, after a case of the flu, I have developed internal buzzing and numbness in my feet as well as all of the numerous other problems (you know what I mean). I am trying to get a referral to a neurologist but I never get any answers anyway. When you have whole body symptoms, they just think you are a hypochondriac. At any rate, the reason I'm writing is because the girl who did my pedicure is in her 20's and she has fibro and the doctor put her on neurontin which she says has helped her so much. You may ask your doctor about that possibility. Good luck.
