Fibromyalgia & stress

Post a new topicby livingwith on Wed Jan 20, 2010 1:42 pm

I was diagnosed about the year 2000 with fibromyalgia. My biggest problem then was the people I worked with. They could not understand why 1 day I seemed fine & made my production & then 3 or more days after I could not even get half my production & I wandered off to bathroom a lot & break areas. Some ran to the big boss every chance they got. Inability to not keep up with my job, constant light duty I was finally let go.
I was homeless. I had 3 kids. The oldest got married, the...Read the full article

Hi CC, my name is Angie, I too have Fibromyalgia, so I know the pain, stress, depression, how others see you all too well. I am also on disability, just got it a year ago. I am so sorry you are having such a difficult time. Why did they cancel your disability? did they give you notice or a reason? What does your doctors say? I would love to help let me know and I will try to do what I can, I can definitely be a friend. Praying for you and your children.

Hi CC,
I hear what your saying, and I want you to know there are others out here that care, and want to help. I too have fibromyalgia, and have been at times in darker places. Being chronically ill does that to a person. But please let me encourage you not to give up. Where there is Christ, there is hope. Everyday is a new day, and you have worked so hard to come this far. it is my prayer that God heals your heart, and comforts your soul. It is also my prayer that God will expedite your problems with disability, and help get you back on track, so that you will be able to feed yourself and your family. And be able to take your medications, which is so important to your mental & emotionally wellbeing. I know when we're feeling so down, it's hard to look up. But that is what you have got to do. it's hard to understand what God's plans for us are, The best I can say is total surrender. Give all your pain & cares to the Lord, and I know He will hear your prayers. For that, I am fully confident. My heart is with you, and I share your pain. Queenbee.
