Re: fibromyalgiaI am a 44 year old male just diagnosed with FM.I just read your posting and it made me cry. You are so right in all you said. I was in constant pain as a child so I am probably one of those rare cases of childhood FM. The diagnosis explains so many things I live with that I have just accepted as being "normal". Man what I wouldn't give to feel "good" without the pain, the IBS, spasms, tenderness, fatigue, the list goes on. I am in the process of educating myself and learning much. I have an incredible neurologist who actually listens. I gave him my symptoms and right away he said I have FM but needed to run the markers to be sure. I cried as I left his office to think someone would actually listen to me! I have about 30 medical questions for him in my next appointment. Anyway I want to thank you for sharing of yourself, letting me know that in my silence of turmoil, I'm not alone. God Bless you, and thank-you.
