Headache

I STARTED GETTING HEADACHES ABOUT TWO MONTHS AGO. THE PIERCING HOT BALLS OF FIRE START BEHIND MY RIGHT EYE AND IN MY RIGHT TEMPLE. THE PAIN SHOOTS DOWN MY NECK. MY RIGHT SIDE OF FACE GOES NUMB AND TINGLES FOREVER AFTER THE HEADACHE STOPS.
I FEEL LIKE I AM LOOSING MY MIND. I HAVE BEEN HOSPITALIZED FOR 8 DAYS AND ALL THESE DOCTORS WANT TO DO IS GIVE PAIN PILLS AND NOT DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM-HELP ME

sorry to hear about your headaches..have you looked up cluster headaches? i was going through the same things on one side of my head..right eye would water up and the sharp pains and right down my neck,,the pain was awful!!!!i just couldn't explain it to anyone how bad it was, they hurts so bad that i wanted to rip my head off. Sometimes i would bang or punch my head because the pain was so unbearable and i would also get the same tingling.also these attackes as i call them would leave me exhausted. After an mri and other proceedures i was finally dignosed with cluster headaches alittle nerve in my neck caused it and was put on nuerotin(a seizure med) and it did help out alot..I haven't had a bout in a while..thank god but i know when they are coming because i would have a slight headache for a few days and them bang..i'd get them. Just a thought....please look up cluster headaches..its an option. good luck, sincerley,lisa
