Post a new topicby Guest on Sun Jun 03, 2001 12:12 pm

My husb has suffered from severe headache attacks since a failed epidural injection intended to treat his back pain 3 years ago (he hospitalized immediately after procedure two weeks). He has been on different kinds of medication; e.g. Maxalt-MLT, Zomig, antidepressants, nothing seems to help. do recommend next? Acupuncture? causes long-term headache? Sincerely, Monica Chyn

Chronic headache can be caused by medication rebound, chronic muscle spasm/soft tissue inflammation, depression etc. Many forms are not completely understood. I would suggest that you as your acupuncture question on the alternative medicine forum; the naturopathic doctor may have some advice for him as well.
