Hydrocephalus

Post a new topicby Guest on Sun Jan 19, 2003 10:30 pm

My 10 yr.old daughter was having way too many headaches so I took her to our family doctor, they ordered and MRI and called to tell me it was venticular enlargement. The doctor told me it was nothing to worry about, and when I went to investigate online I was stunned at what I read. I guess I need to know is ventricular enlargement always hydrocephalus and will she most likely need surgery. Is there any one out there who has had this happen to a child this age? I am so worried. I really need answers now as she won't be seeing a neurologist until Feb. Thanks for any info anyone can give.
