SHARP PAIN IN TEMPLE

Post a new topicby Guest on Fri May 06, 2005 3:06 pm

My wife has stabbing pain in her temples, they come about once a week and last from 10-30 seconds. She has had them for about 6 years. Recently she had one that lasted 45 seconds and was more severe than any one she has ever had, she was nursing our son at the time, and it was so bad I had to take him from her arms. It scared me to death so I insisted she see the Dr. They sent her for an eeg and it came back as evidence of seizures She has to see a Neurologist but if anyone has or has heard of these symptoms It would be great to hear fom you.

I'm so sorry to hear about your wife. I know how scary it must be. I used to get a sharp pain in my temples, but it never lasted that long and I did not have seizures. However, I developed a disabling condition with a variety of strange symptoms that no doctor knew about nor understood.
If you and your wife find yourself exhausting all of your efforts, please look into the ailment known as "atlas subluxation complex syndrome". The treatment for it is called "NUCCA" or "Atlas Orthogonal". The website that I stumbled across after a year of searching is called upcspine.com, it's worth looking into.
Good luck with your search, I wish you health and happiness!
