Tension Headache?

Post a new topicby Guest on Wed Nov 03, 2004 1:39 am

25 yr. old male having headaches on/off for 2 months. Had dehydration episode then first-ever hyperventilation attack 2 months ago and ever since I've had this headache, which I believe is a tension headache. Reasons being that I haven't had characheristic excruciating headaches, just bothersome pains about my skull. Mostly on the top or "crown" of my head, sometimes upper-forehead, sometimes upper-back of my head. I have had blood and urinalysis tests both which checked out OK.

Physical activity doesen't seem to induce these headaches, but I have a unpredictable schedule at my job, which, I believe, causes me stress.

I have checked into the symptoms of many neurological disorders and show no feverish or major headache type symptoms that they carry. I can only conclude that it is tension related. I'm open to any suggestions.

You want to find the underlying causes of the pain. I suggest you look up a naturopath to put you on the right track.

A great ebook that will point you in the right direction can be found at http://www.headachefreedom.com
