violent morning headaches

Post a new topicby Guest on Sat May 04, 2002 10:33 am

I am 32yrs. old. When I was 24 I was put on bp meds. to help control my bp. The last few days I have been waking up with severe headaches that will go away once my meds take effect. Also, I have been under an enormous amount of stress lately. Do you think that my condition is worsening, or perhaps my meds need to be changed. I take 25mgs. of tenormin 1x a day... it used to be 100mgs plus 5mgs. of norvasc. That was 2yrs ago.Is there anything I can do to make these violent morning headaches go wawy? some chest tightness accompanies this also.I know you will probably tell me to see my md. and I will, but it would be nice to have some understanding on this before I do. Any information you can help me with would be most appreciated. Thank You very much, Sincerely, Danielle Shapley
