candida and treatment issues

Post a new topicby Guest on Thu Mar 14, 2002 5:31 pm

please tell me about this as I think I have it, recently have unexplainable rashes under arms, in the groin I have inflamed skin that splits and becomes quite raw, behind my ears as well.
My ears are filled with fluid and I smell strange smells which I am not sure where they are coming from. I am suffering from mood swings but I that could be just the dumb hiv wearing me out.
What treatments are there for thhis?

but wait there's more..
I am a male with t-cell count of 326, and viral load of 100,000, I have been stable , the same levels for the past several years - what do you recommend, personally i would like to hold out until my T-cells drop to 200...I have my reasons.
Help.

Your symptoms sound predominantly like Seb Derm. Without a physician seeing you it's impossible to say. With <350 t cells, all official recommendations say that you should be on therapy. MANY studies show that people who wait till <200 don't do as well as people >200.
