lymph nodeshello doctor, if a person is infected with hiv can the person really see the nodes on the neck, armpits, and on the groin area? because i haven't been able to see it or feel it yet...thank you. oh by the way, is there is difference between testing at the beginning of week 25 and week 26 exactly? thank you again.
Re: lymph nodesTom, most people with HIV have swollen glands in their neck, arm pits and groin that they can feel, early in infection and usually later. BUT, we don't diagnose hiv by swollen glands. Many people have swollen glands in their necks or groins without having hiv. The blood tests are necessary if you think you have HIV. Not diagnosing yourself at home by searching for physicial clues.
