I can't get pregnantI'm new here. I've been married for 3 years and we've been trying to get pregnant for 27 months now. I had an abortion at 17 (my parents choice not mine) I'm now 25. I can't seem to get pregnant and I think it has something to do with the abortion. I'm to scared to ask the doctor because I'm afraid they'll say the abortion not only killed my baby but also killed any chance I'll ever have at getting pregnant again. I need real help from kind people. Please don't judge me by the mistakes of my past.
Re: I can't get pregnantYou should talk to your doctor if it is due to or the concern is scar tissue then a hystrosalpingogram would be able to tell you if your tubes are open. An ultrasound would check your follicles and some basic hormonal blood work could help determine if there is a problem, good luck
Re: I can't get pregnantThere are so many reasons that you might now be getting pregnant, and the only way to really find out is to start testing with a physician. I thought that the reason I wasn't getting pregnant was because there was something wrong with me, but after testing it turns out that it wasn't me at all - there are so many reasons for infertility but not talking to your doctor will only make the process take that much longer. No one is judging you - everyone has a past!
